Approximately 30 minutes from the lodge, Hyner View State Park features a scenic vista overlooking the West Branch of the Susquehanna River. This is one of the nicest scenic vistas in Pennsylvania state parks. You can see for miles upstream and downstream over the West Branch of the Susquehanna River and surrounding mountains. Hang gliding is a very popular activity at the park. Hang gliders take off from the scenic vista and sail out over the West Branch of the Susquehanna River. Visit Hyner View State Park for more information and directions to the PA Grand Canyon.
